Step 1: Startup repair
- > Boot from DVD > Repair your computer > Startup Repair
> *please not that if Startup repair does not resolve the issue proceed to the next step
Step 2: Rename (xxx)
- > Boot to WinRE + Command prompt
- > Cd c:\windows\System32\WBEM\
- > Ren l2secHC.mos
- > Restart the computer and attempt SP1 installation again by installing the standalone version.
-> This should solve it
